How We Disclose Information

We are committed to maintaining your trust, and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share the information we collect. We may disclose aggregate and non-personal information (such as the number of visitors to our site) for any purpose. We may disclose your personal information (i) as we reasonably believe is required by law or judicial process, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other government agencies, (ii) to protect the safety, rights, or property of ourselves or others, (iii) to protect ourselves or others from legal liability or from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, (iv) to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, and (v) to protect the security of the site and the services. We may also disclose personal information in any manner disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or to which you later consent. Finally, we may disclose personal information in connection with a substantial corporate transaction to any acquirer of THORN or THORN’s assets, such as occurs in a merger, sale of assets, or bankruptcy.

No Commercial Advertisements

THORN is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization supported by charitable donations. We solicit and collect such charitable donations through the site, but do not advertise commercial products or services, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial marketing purposes.
