Real Talk
Youth Panel Series
Our webinar series creates a space for direct engagement with the NoFiltr Youth Innovation Council, offering partners across tech, civil society, education, and caregiving sectors access to authentic youth perspectives on digital experiences. Each session is designed to be both insightful and interactive, providing practical, experience-based input that can inform product development, policy, and programming.
Session 1
Youth Perspectives on Accountability
Building Better Digital Experiences: The Youth Perspective on Accountability opens the series with a question that more and more forward-thinking organizations are asking: what do young people actually want from their digital experiences?
Accountability in the digital space is a topic that touches everyone, from platforms, parents, educators, to young people themselves. But the youth perspective is often the last one added to the conversation, if it's included at all. This session challenges that.

Session 2
AI & Digital Wellbeing: Perspectives in Practice
What does the future of AI look like when we truly center youth voices alongside research? The second installment to the Real Talk Series, AI & Digital Wellbeing: Youth Perspectives in Practice, centers around this question.
Moderated by Youth Innovation Council alum Katie, this panel brings together current members and alumni to discuss how young people are already engaging with generative AI, what responsible use looks like, and why youth perspectives should help shape safety and wellbeing from the start. The session concludes with a fireside chat featuring Amanda Goharian, Director of Research & Insights at Thorn, who connects these youth perspectives to broader research and emerging trends around technology-facilitated harms impacting children.
